Alesis io2 Express w/out ASIO4all for mobile rig?
Hey guys. A while back I bought an Alesis io2 to have in case I needed an inexpensive, small rig to travel with (for voice over work). I assumed it had it's own drivers, like an Mbox, that would handle the audio. However, Pro Tools insists that I use the ASIO4all, in which I get really, really poor performance out of. Does anyone know if that Alesis HAS to use ASIO4all with Pro Tools, or is there a way I can force Pro Tools to use the Alesis?
Thanks. Oh, and Windows 7 - 64 bit. Pro Tools 10.2 |

I know it's no comfort, but third party drivers are really the responsibilities of third parties vendor. If these drivers does not give you good performance then you should warn Alesis about it so they can fix it. |
