Midi volume monitoring
Strange new issue with PT12.
I can't monitor volume changes live on a midi track. Am I missing something? Playback automation is fine. I opened my PT10 as a test, same prefs, no issues. In PT12, I created a simple Xpand!2 Instrument track and a separate midi track routed to it. I can control (and monitor) the audio out of the instrument track, but not the volume of the midi track. I'm controlling with a Command8, but even grabbing the fader in the mix window has the same issue. That means that I can't roll a mix, because I'm not monitoring the midi volume changes while playing or in writing automation. I've been using ProTools for decades, so I'm sure I'm missing something pretty stupid... help! |

Re: Midi volume monitoring
same here: PT 12.2 is not letting MIDI volume / pan through, automation only.
pretty annoying. Is there a preference setting I missed? Walter |
