Default Digi 003 and PT 2019.6

Hi everyone

I’m sorry if this has been asked before on here or elsewhere...I’ve just been given a Digi 003 console to use with PT 2019.6 on a Mac mini running Mojave. Unfortunately, and this may be me just missing a step or two, I can’t seem to link the console and Mac, the 003 just says that it’s off-line.

Does anyone have any sensible suggestions for what I need to do?

Many thanks

You do realise latest drivers are 3yr old and latest supported is Sierra, don't you?

If you click up top on the link called Learn & Support, you can navigate to the legacy drivers page and download the driver. Whether it will function or not is anyone's guess since the 003 is no longer supported. Having said that, I am running the 003Rack here with no issues(on the latest version of PT). Its also possible that you might get audio working in and out, but the control surface might have reduced(or no) function

Once you have installed the driver, hold the N key while opening Pro Tools to go directly to the Hardware page and select the 003 as the "Audio Engine"(if its an available option)

Hiya. Yes I do, but I just wanted to check if anyone had any advice. There seems to be a lot of people on here running the latest PT and both 003 racks and consoles.

It’s a kind of an experiment.

Many thanks, I’ll keep digging. The great frustration is that so many seem to be able to use both rack and console happily on Mojave, but I have nothing beyond ‘offline’.
