Black Friday upgrade special

I get that the $600 HD upgrade is a nice gift for the stockholders and CEOs of AVID.
And I kind of get that you have made HD HW not work with LE SW... [ but not logic cubase, Live etc etc ..hmmm]

But hows this :
do a one time email Blast Black Friday /cybermonday whatever to give a window for some to upgrade. at a half price

that way you wouldnt make the already upgraders feel bad..

and you can wring your hands on that Dec 31st windfall for those who didnt [ Avid/Ebenezer !]

And, this is the hard part:

in turn give something [ anything!] to us HD people that have paid 10x more for most everything, and for most of us have done it through the good times,.. and buggy bad. for years
