Default PT 10 to PT 11

I have just purchased PT 11.

is there an easy way to transfer all my PT10 file pluggins to PT11, pity they couldn't merge.

I'm sure when I went from PT9 to 10, I could use the same plugins.

Any advice would be great.

Gub

PT11 can only use AAX64 plugins which are not necessarily compatible with PT10, so you will have to install almost every plugin again.

Thank you,

So the plugins that came with PT 10 are not available with PT11?

I guess thats the reason for the Air Creative?

Thx

PT11 has it's own plugins which it installs. It also has it's own collection of Instruments which is a separate download and install and that's what you need.

Some of the plugins in PT10 that had variations as separate plugins (I think it was delays and eq's) were consolidated into one plugin in PT11.

If you have some plugins that don't have aax64 support but do have 64 bit vst support (and that's installed on your system) then you can host them in Blue Cat Patchwork or MB7-2 as an insert in a PT11 track.
