I won't comment on the timing but I applaud the move. Any chance that this will work (supported or not) for those poor PPC guys stuck on 8.0.1? That would be nice.

Well Russ I think thats actually great news. Making an honest attempt to leave 8.01 in good shape for PPC users is shades of the old Digi and I like it. Had this dropped at the same time as the PTIEP there would be a lot less contoversy and frustration for all involved.
