Default Compact selected

I want to use compact selected. when asked to choose handle length what do I choose ? I want to conserve some space... [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]

i always choose anywhere from 1000ms to 2000ms for handles. it's good to have some handles that gives you some extra room, especially when you might want to crossfade your compacted regions.
