Default S6L 16c

I’m very interested in the functionality of S6L 16C.
There’s no integrated touch screen so it seems there’s no Universe View, am I correct?

Hmm, unless there is a connection for a screen, you would be correct, and I would not buy that product unless it really fits your specific needs. Here are my reasons:
16 faders= simply NOT enough for active mixing unless I only use 16 inputs
No screen= not enough information available at a fast glance.

What is the intended purpose for you? Years ago, when mixing on DIGICO D1(also 16 faders), I found it slow to navigate beyond 16 channels

According to the S6L website the 16 requires a user-provided external touchscreen. The universe screen on the larger S6L's is it's own dedicated monitor and not accessible via a "tab" on the aux screen but maybe Avid has designed in a solution for this. As far as 16 faders, no problem when you consider the ability to put any fader anywhere and creating used defined surface layouts. It's a new way of looking at your mixer, the way you want!

With vca spill it will be very easy to navigate.
I’ve never had a problem navigating efficiently on the S3L.
This should be even better with two additional faders on the S6L 16C.
If the Universe View is accessible from the external screen it will be amazing.
