Loop Playback in 10.3 - BUG
I have a record session that's running in Destructive Punch. If any tracks are armed (solid Blue) you cannot loop playback. Once you disarm the track you can resume loop playback.
This is a problem since our recorder has picture on it. In order for other systems linked via satellite to loop we have to take the recorder (& picture) offline or work with all record tracks disarmed. If there isn't a fix soon, I will have to roll all recorders back to 10.2. |

So I just tested this in a room running 10.2 to confirm what I thought was happening. It works differently than 10.3 but not the way I originally thought.
Systems unlinked: Recorder has tracks armed in DP (Solid Blue) if you press play it will not loop. Playback system loops play without issue. If you link the two systems via satellite the game changes: Press play from the recorder it plays the selection then stops all systems. Press play from the playback system and it will continue to loop, but the recorder will stop after the first play pass. That is where it differs. 10.3 stops all systems regardless of which system pressed play. Forcing you to either unarm tracks or take the system that needs to loop offline. |
