Using an S1 to control MIDI functions in PT?
I'd like to be able to use the S1's faders to automate MIDI CCs within PT, like Expression, Volume, etc. I understand the potential roadblocks, but can this be accomplished somehow?

Re: Using an S1 to control MIDI functions in PT?
Answering my own question: after some experimentation, it can be done via MIDI Translator Pro and some configuration that's more complex than I'd like it to be. Essentially, you automate a dummy MIDI track and have Translator convert that MIDI into something more useful, in my case Expression for string libraries.
