Default Soundminer 4.1 is released

Soundminer has just released V4.1, Justin worked his butt off getting Rewire to work flawlessly.
I would know, he was rewriting code, and sending me updates as late as midnight some nights!!!!

I just ran it through its paces:
Scanning is faster, and the search function is quicker than ever.

Great, now all they need to do is make it available to us.
It's not in the usual place.

thanks,

Thanks for the update.

I was getting some crashes when Rewired in Pro Tools.

Maybe this will help??

Talk to the SM folks and you will probably get a link. The beta's have been according to them for the "brave at heart". But they have actually ben very stable. Scanning is faster, searching is much faster - I think now faster than 3.x - overviews are working for all the files I've thrown at it, lots of fixes and updates (depending on where you are now).

I'm guessing that the update links have been sent to users with the most emails to them???

It looked like a mass mailing for 4.1 Release Candidate. Justin has since made at least 6 revisions per my bug reports, and requests.

4.1 also now spots to STP, and FCP, for those who need it. But it's still a Protools oriented software!!

Great that it spots for FCP. Maybe now the interruptions will stop!! "Can you find me a... sound?".

Have you guys already tested it a bit?
Here i just can't spot or bring stereo sounds into PT anymore (didn't test quad or 5.0), i only got 1 channel transfered... Back to 4.0.103...

Bye.
