Default Post Fader Meters

I can't seem to figure this out. I'm trying to set my track meters to Post fader, to visually monitor track volume, but can't remember how. I believe I was able to in 6.9 (running 7.0cs1) but I don't know (remember) if that was in another app or PT.

Thanks a Mill

From the PT Reference Manual (hint, hint)

Pre- and Post-Fader Metering
You can globally set audio track level meters to
indicate pre-or post-fader levels by selecting or
de-selecting Operations > Pre-Fader Metering.
When pre-fader metering is selected, the level
meters show levels independent of fader position.
With post-fader metering, the level meters
respond to fader position.

That's for 6.x, don't know if it changed in 7.

Yeah I know that's my bad, when I first selected it, it was just something I found while play'n around in the Program. And usually the only time I look in the Reference manual is when I'm doing a fresh PT install setting the Digi recommended optimizations.

But thanks I am checking the PT7 Reference now, cause I was looking in my ProTools visual quick start book, it mentioned what it was but not how to set it.

But again Thanks a MILL.

You should absolutely buy or print a hard copy of the Reference Manual... keep it in the magazine rack next to the toilet.

I know that is what the ref. man. says but my system seems to not respond. In other words, it appears to be stuck in pre-fader metering. Does my system have a bug or is there some operator sequence I am missing? Help!
