Mac Studio M2 With Icon D Control
I currently own the D Control along with a Mac Studio M2, running Pro Tools 2023.9. I am interested in understanding the compatibility of this setup with the latest version of Pro Tools, as well as its compatibility with other DAWs such as Ableton.

Hi, welcome to the community.
So long as you run PT in Rosetta mode, all is well. If you run it ARM native, the desk is dead.

What about other DAWs that will work with Arm? Additionally, we need to adapt them to Rosetta. What are the drawbacks of running a DAW in Rosetta?

Eventually Apple will discontinue Intel code from macOS, in which point everything will be ARM native and some things are left behind.

Does the D Control run on other DAW software as a DAW controller and monitor controller, for example, on Ableton and Logic?

I don't know about that but what I do know is it does not work at all without its Intel-coded drivers.

Okay, and one last question: will it function as a monitor controller in other DAWs? Any idea about that, as the monitor controller currently operates through Xmon? And im Getting Lynx Aurora 32Tb

D-Control is technically just a glorified mouse. Whatever you monitor outside of PT goes through CoreAudio driver of your interface.

Yes, I understand. What I mean is, can I use the monitor as a talkback while using Logic? Does that functionality work, or is it exclusive to Pro Tools?

Why don't you read this? I have never used D-Control outside of PT. Hasn't even come to my mind someone wanted to.
