Default How do I Export Separate Tracks?

Need to export to another studio.
Can't remember how to export separate tracks and can't find much via google. Want to export in sync to a data cd or a dvd?
Use bounce to disk?
hmmm...any help? thanks

One method is to consolidate the tracks so they all start at zero, then export the regions from the region bin menu. No need to bounce unless you need to apply effects or have a mix etc...

I'm not in front of my DAW, but this is how I remember it:

1) Highlight the entire track Go to Edit>Consolidate
2) Take note of the newly named / conslidated region (e.g. Guitar_01.wav)
3) Go into your session audio files and copy / paste them to a thumb drive.
4) Take your thumb drive to Studio B and you're good to go.

Or, you can use "Import Session Data." That is a little more complicated, but Google that phrase and you'll find plenty of info.

This is what we do all the time, and it works fine.

MIDI - yep. I'm not in front of PT either, but IIRC you get asked to export to a single track (Type 0) or multitrack (Type 1) MIDI format. Just export it, & save it to your usb stick along with your audio, then re-import at the other studio.

When you import you'll get the option to import to new track(s) or just to the region bin.

Oh, and as for the click; if you import session data there is the option to copy the tempo map from the session you're importing from. If you're just taking the audio files then as S.w.A.t. suggests, just bus it out to an audio track, record it then treat it the same as the other audio files.

Personally, if you have a tempo mapped out with a few changes, I'd prefer to have that tempo map & dedicated click track when I'm working on it in the other studio, so I'd take the session & import it as session data. All depends what you're going to be doing at the other end I guess.
