Combine d24 and disc i/o possible?

Hi I finaly have TDM with one d24,one dsp farm and one disc i/o card.

Should I combine all cards or trow disc i/o card in trash?

Disk i/o won't work with it as far as I know. It only supports 16 bit, while the d24 supports 24 bit... so if if it did work you'd have to use 16 bit sessions.

If you have it, do you want to sell the disk i/o SCSI cable?

Without a cable like the one Shorty posted, the disk i/o isn't usable with pro tools. And like I said, it'd only be useful to your system if you didn't have the d24 and were running PT 5.0.1 or earlier. So yeah, throw it away, stick it on ebay... you don't need it.

The only use it has right now(without the cable) is if you wanted to use a digidesign interface with a third party program on a separate computer. I have a disk i/o with an 888 in an old G3, I use it with Soft Samplecell in standalone mode to play back samples.
