I cant close my pt8!!
After closing sessions, when i click on the close button or on the X to close pt, this dialog appears:
Could not complete the exit command because Access violation ocurred, unable to read location: 0x00049C at address 0x62107A2D in modulle: DAE.dll so, the only way to close pro tools is on the administrator panel... anyone had this problem? |

Re: I cant close my pt8!!
Yup...Have seen this ugly little beast a couple times. Unfortunately I've gotten around it differently every time so I cannot tell you the exact error..Search Digi's error pages..
Thing I have done in the past - Save As a different name, then re-save it - Wait a couple hours, then save it - Shut down all other processes in Task Manager/Administrator Panel (and pray its a service that is causing a share violation) - Save the same project to a different location on your computer (could be a bad memory location?) Hope this was helpful and one of these solutions work. |
