ProTools LE/iMac Intel/24\"screen
Looking for some guidance. Will PTs LE run on the new iMac Intel(2.33Ghz) with no noticeable loss of processing? We are upgrading or downgrading 2 of our systems from PTs TDM(888 MIX24) to PTs LE with the Digirack. Cannot justify the cost of going to HD. Using a MacPro almost seems like a waste and the iMac with the 24" screen is very appealing. The majority of our sessions are 30/60 seconds in length with no more than 6 or 8 tracks and a couple of plug-ins in 3 or 4 of the tracks. I have this nightmare of seeing "the spinning wheel of death" right in the middle of a session!! We are also running a first generation G5 with a Digirack and have experienced no problems, but I still worry. Anybody had any experiences with the iMac Intel and PTs LE?

was just looking at going protools with one of those machines.....mmmm Still trouble?
