Default Apera- support and maintenance plans

Anyone considering dropping $575 to$1,500 per year for software and or hardware support of your Digidelivery LT/GT?

What about software updates?
What about the bugs that are still in the system? Will I get those updated even without the support plan?

frank.

From what I hear, software and bug fixes are not covered unless you buy a plan.

I am NOT happy.

I bet Aspera retires Digidelivery as a product when they find out that very few will spend the money for support.

I have zero confidence at the moment.

Chris M..... Care to reassure me so I will pay for support? What percentage of the users has paid already?

Aspera is only here intermittently, so you may want to contact them directly via the info in the sticky at the top of this forum.

I understand that units that are less than three years old will cost 495.00 for repairs and that out of warranty units will be repaired but price will vary.

I also understand that when the new software is ready, you will need the service contract to get the update.

i hope that if this information is either incorrect or incomplete, that Aspera will give us more complete and accurate info.

Where does it read that software updates require a service plan? All I find in the service plan announcement is in regards to tech support and hardware service.
