Avid compatibility
Hi !
In the Digidelivery demo movie on the website, I found a statement that digidelivery is able to "automatically copie the sequence and the audio and video media" of an avid project. Is this true ? Regards ! Tom Korr Cine+ |

Re: Avid compatibility
That's correct. The latest version of the Avid editors (Media Composer 5.5, Xpress Pro 2.5, etc.) have an option in the export templates to Send via DigiDelivery. If checked, the application completes the render/transcode/consolidate operations, then launches DigiDelivery. The exported sequence file and all of the dependent media files are automatically included in the delivery, regardless of what volume they reside on. You then choose your recipients, enter tracking information and any message you like, and send the sequence without having to worry that you missed a file.
