Elastic audio is unable to perform error
Hey guys.. im new to the forum and obviously to pro tools also. When i try to play the demo sessions that came on a disk with PT i get an error saying "elastic audio is unable to perform because tracks on the playlist are unsupported..." something about being read only and making the tracks inactive until its fixed..I apologize I didn't type it verbatim. It does this to each track until they are all grayed out as inactive. how can I fix this please ?
Thanks in advance for your help..God Bless Last edited by Rwilliams0190; 05-04-2010 at 11:36 PM. Reason: edit, typo |

Re: Elastic audio is unable to perform error
I'm guessing the tracks need to be copied to your hard drive before playing? Maybe it wants to write something to Hard disk....

Re: Elastic audio is unable to perform error
Well when i open the demo session from the cd it brings up a box that says that the files are read only (R) and to set them to playback (P)..I don't know what that means though. It gives you the option to cancel or press ok. When I press ok it makes me save a copy of the session first..then when i try to play the song it gives me the elastic time error for each track until they are all inactive
