How To Rename Session file to work on PC?
I am trying to open a pro tools session created on a mac on my PC. I already renamed all the audio files to aif, which works but what do I rename the fade files and the actual session file? Or can I?
Thanks |

Re: How To Rename Session file to work on PC?
This has been covered a million times, but....
When you save the session on the Mac, there's a check box to enable PC compatability. Check it, and then you should be able to open it no problem on your pc. Paul

Re: How To Rename Session file to work on PC?
.pts is the extension. but if they didn't check the mac/pc compatible box it's useless. Also in PT 6.X you create a session on your pc than import session data unde the file menu.
