Default How To Rename Session file to work on PC?

I am trying to open a pro tools session created on a mac on my PC. I already renamed all the audio files to aif, which works but what do I rename the fade files and the actual session file? Or can I?

Thanks

This has been covered a million times, but....
When you save the session on the Mac, there's a check box to enable PC compatability. Check it, and then you should be able to open it no problem on your pc.

.pts is the extension. but if they didn't check the mac/pc compatible box it's useless. Also in PT 6.X you create a session on your pc than import session data unde the file menu.
