Mac Studio doesnt recognize HDX card

thanks, but yes I am aware that the HD driver is not mulit-client and Pro Tools was closed...

I'd only noticed because the external USB interface I had used to monitor Mac audio became unsupported with Ventura (Tascam UH-7000) and I wanted to switch over to HDX to listen to Spotify.

I found I am in the same situation as the gentleman in this thread:

1) new Mac Studio M2

2)ProTools 2024.3

3) Sonnet chassis - Echo express# - approved Avid Hard
ware
4). Cable purchased from Sonnet re; this post: https://www.production-expert.com/ho...erbolt-chassis card is getting power.

5) HDX Driver installed but not recognized _apple systems report see the card but shares the driver is not loaded listed in PCI system report as pci11af,ef70

Any and help appreciated

Did you lower the security policy in MacOS recovery mode first? The driver doesn't load if you didn't do that.

Assuming Sonoma since new?
Today's Pro Tools 24.3.1 version has a fix for HDX drivers not being allowed to run. I suggest you install the latest.
