UVI Workstation & Falcon included with Pro Tools

Here's another quick tip. Once you have Falcon and the libraries all tucked away and installed where you need them to be, there is going to be a learning curve on this thing, if you want to go beyond just playing factory presets. UVI has a decent set of Falcon tutorials on Youtube to help get you started with the basics of how this thing works.



If you happen to subscribe to the Groove 3 website for video tutorials (a great site) there is a nice "Falcon Explained" series with Eli Krantzberg.

Quick heads up for Mac users the I could not get the "Unarchiver" app recommended in the Sound Banks and Falcon Installation guide to work at all,,,, I ended up installing the new Stuffit Expander app of the Mac App store and that worked

I now have it in my iLOK but no download link on my avid account !

Check you Avid App Manager and see if its in there.

They haven't been hitting both ilok and My Products at the exact time in some cases. If it's in your ilok it should hit your products in less than 24 hours i think

A reminder, the UVI plugins will come in as a sub entry under your main Pro Tools subscription/product.
It doesn't create its own top-line entry so you need to open up your downloads for your Pro Tools subscription and then scroll down for a UVI section.

I received both iLok and download link late last night (Pacific Time.) Looks to be close to simultaneously. They definitely weren't there earlier in the day (as I was on a second HDX/Ultimate system and they had received licenses/downloads and I checked at that time and my account still hadn't.)

This win rar stuff is crap. Shouldn’t have to install an ap to unzip the factory bank. Oh, and if the factory bank wasn’t created with the latest version of the software there a possible security concerns to deal with so Avid, get with it and just give us the unzipped file or use regular windows zipping.

Same here. Nothing in my Avid account or iLok.


AppManager told me to download the plugin but I need the authorisation!
