Upgrade price from 8.5 to 9.x ?

Hi. I've spent an hour on the terrible Avid website and Googling trying to find the upgrade price (if any) from PT 8.5 for HD Native to 9.x and where it can be downloaded. Can someone please advise me on this?

Thanks, Dism. I had seen that, but what confused me was that someone had mentioned that it was a free upgrade from 8.5 and I was trying to confirm whether that was correct or not. I guess not. Thanks for the help.

Mine was. I registered it and in my account section of the avid site was 9.0.2 hd. Full version.

Out of curiosity, I looked on the Avid store and could find nothing about this.

However, as far as I know, any HD Native system bought new should qualify for a free upgrade because it started shipping within the 30 day window of PT 9.

Dear Pro Tools HD Native v8.5 owner,

Thank you for your support of Avid and its products. We're pleased to let you know that as an owner of HD Native, you may update to Pro Tools HD 9 at no charge.

When you activate your native HD 8.5/9 iLok license, you will automatically have the download for Pro Tools HD 9 accessible in your online Avid account. The iLok authorization you receive when you activate will automatically authorize Pro Tools HD 9...

If you have registered the HD Native system, check your spam or junk mail folder for that message sent the same day you registered the system.
