Region Definitions & File Formats
Masterlist uses exported region definitions to define each track and index. Region definitions can be exported for SDII files.
Can they also be exported for AIFF and WAV files? Will Masterlist recognize these? |

Re: Region Definitions & File Formats
Btw: Since Mix and HD systems can work with wav files (and with 96 khz and above you have to work with wav) why is MLCD not able to work with it ?

Re: Region Definitions & File Formats
I did some tests and can now answer both questions. Masterlist will see SDII files and regions. It will see AIFF files, but not regions. It will not see WAV files or regions.
Protools can export and import region definitions for SDII, AIFF, and WAV files. And it can use all three formats within the same session without conversion, as long as the bit depth and sample rate are the same. |
