For Those Who Want a Very Simple MIDI Foot Controller
I saw the following item on Ebay (there is also a 4 button version).
6-button MIDI(USB) Footswitch. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220977973746 This appeals to me greatly, seeing as I use my 11 Rack like a normal amp and want a MIDI foot controller to simply switch the stomp-box effects on and off, just like a conventional pedal board. So far I have either found nothing small and simple enough or way too expensive for what is little more than a bunch of switches on a board! Unfortunately it is USB only. I emailed the seller to ask if he would consider making it with a MIDI connector and he stated that it may be a future development, when he is not so busy. I'm sharing it here in the hope that other 11 Rack users like this simple device and also contact the seller to ask him to develop a traditional MIDI connector version!

Re: For Those Who Want a Very Simple MIDI Foot Controller
I sent him a request for a midi connector and will buy the board the second he adds it.
Looks like the perfect board for my use and the price is very attractive. |

This is actually very cool, since you can add an expression pedal to it. Most cheap keyboards do not have an expression input, this worth the $30 just so you can do that.

Re: For Those Who Want a Very Simple MIDI Foot Controller
I suddenly thought of something else and sent another question to him. The foot switches send PC messages only - not CC, only the expression pedal will do that, which isn't actually what I want, but even so I guess it would still be a great value foot controller for changing rigs anyway.
It doesn't look very heavy either, which is another reason I like it.

Re: For Those Who Want a Very Simple MIDI Foot Controller
If you're OK with just PC messages and a CC for volume, the Rocktron MIDI xChange will do that. They seem to be going on Ebay for $60 to $70. I managed to snag one a while back for $40.
