Ever had a Yamaha ADAT card go bad? 01V\'s ADAT won\'t work.
Original 01v with MY8AD ADAT card. The cards not working. No red glowing light in the output port and won't pass signal into the board though it does recognize the clock and will lock to it. The board itself does recognize that it's installed. I tried reinstalling it but no go.
WTF? Anybody ever had one of these go bad? I don't understand how it could, it's got no moving parts and it's been in a studio since it was bought. I take it around sometimes for live sound work but it's in a nice road case and all. Makes no since. I am sad.

I use them a lot, maybe you pulled it out when the board was still powered up and fried something?

Unlikely, I had never pulled it out at all until I realized is wasn't working. I don't know what could have happened to it. It's been in a rack since I got it. It's done some location stuff but never been abused. I don't get it.
