96K 5.1 interleaved .wav problem

I am having a strange problem when bouncing out a 5.1 interleaved 24bit 96k file. After the bounce is complete, there is no file to be found. The data availability in the disk is as if nothing was ever written. I can even go to the Terminal and look in the directory and nothing is there, nothing hidden or strange.

Any thoughts? I am sure there is a simple fix for this, its late...

Is your audio very long? A BWAV in PT can only be 2GB (although BWAV supports 4GB and more if it´s a RIFF64).
2GB is already reached after 20 Minutes. Maybe that´s the cause?
If it´s a split-file it can be an hour because each channel can cary 2GB.

I've had this problem before when recording. . But when the 2 gb limit is reached PT just drops out. . . The file IS there on the drive but doesn't appear in the edit window. .

When bouncing to disk the result may be different. . ?

What do you mean by "doesn´t appear in the edit-window"? PT doesn´t handle Interleaved audio in a session therefor it can only live on a drive but not in a session.
There´s no way to have an interleaved file in a PT session unless you re-import it and have PT convert it to a split file again.

AH, I see. I had no idea about the 2 GB limit. I am sure thats it. The file should be somewhere around 2.3GB if all together, I am splitting it up right now.
