Default Need to make a mobile rig. Suggestions please!!

Here is the deal. I got a whole PC laying around and I wanna make a mobile 001 rig to track live shows. (We have a TRUCKLOAD of rediculous music around here and lots of tiny labels that'll put the records out.) So I want to have the whole rig in a 8 or 10 space rack except for the monitor which will be stored horizonatlly encased in foam in the rack and I'll just pull it out and set it on top with the keyboard/mouse.

The problem is I want to be able to mix with my nice studio rig, so I have to be able to run PT on both PC's. As it is I'll have to pull the PCI card out and put it in the other PC everytime I wanna switch rigs. Thats kinda scary. Just cause they'er getting hard to find. So, what do you think is the cheapest way I can run 6.4 on these two rigs? One to track (mobile) and one to mix (studio)?

Should I...

A. Just buy a used 001 for 300?
B. Buy a used 001 PCI card for 150-200?
C. Buy a used Mbox for 250?
D. your suggestion here.....

I have a similar rig and I use an mbox with ptle 7 on the mix PC. One thing I do miss is the hardware inserts on the master fader. Sometimes I master on the 001 rig so I can use an outboard processor.

No hardware inserts on the master faders? Can you put them on aux tracks?

I'm thinking that might be the best solution really, since mboxes are only a 200-300 and thats pretty much what it would cost to buy either a 001, or just the PCI card.

running 7.x would be nice too. Any import/export session problems between 6.5 and 7.x I should know about? Would I have to pay to upgrade all my plugs to 7.x?
