Air Effects bundle - AIR Delay Pro ?

AIR realeased "AIR Delay Pro"

Not that it's a really expensive one but would anyone tell me how long it usually takes for a new AIR plugin to join the AIR effects bundle ?

I would have zero expectation of anything new from Air being included with anything from Avid. Two totally separate companies with messy history and seemingly problematic relationship. If you like something new just buy it from Air.

I have the same suspicion that this won't be on Avid's servers anytime soon and probably never will. It will certainly not be on my hard drive. Can't risk having to deal with their activation methods or customer support. I like some of AIR's products but never use them on new sessions.

AIR is independent now.
Avid owns the IP of the plugins created while AIR was part of Avid and nothing more. Those are the only plugins that will continue under Avid's bundles.

All new AIR plugins are from the independent company and must be bought from them.

Like many of you, I gave up on AIR a long time ago. I still use some of the VI's such as Hybrid 3, Transfuser, Loom, Structure and Xpand, but only because I've had them so long and have created so many patches for them. And they do sound nice in the right projects. But I have no interest in adding anything new from them. They seemed to have lost interest in updating or upgrading any of the PTIEP so many of us got a few years back. Can't even remember how long ago the last update to any of those was!

Many, and it hasn't quite ended. They respond to emails quickly enough, and the agents do try to be helpful, but they too often lack solutions for the larger issues.

I have been using AIR products for years and continue to support them in their current offerings.
They have added some pretty good products with nice pricing as well.

Guess I'm fortunate to have not had problems.

Agreed. They are a bit clunky in the install and support department but things are moving in the right direction. Some of the products are a bit archaic but some of the sounds I would not choose to be without.
