I'm waiting 'til the "start marker follows timeline" issue and others are resolved. (see posts in the PT10 general discussion)

10 is the last stand for HD but last year at AES Avid did say 5 years of support for 10
I'm assuming that incudes HD hardware

the crippler is if you want 64 bit and what we think it will bring you'll need 11 and HDX

i just can't see spending the money if i can't get more client income...it just does not make sense

in fact

upgrading from 7.4 to 10 and a new magma and all was over 5 grand and i lost TDM UA plugs..... not that much was gained for the dollar investment.

the music sound no better

i pay

and the only thing i get is to say i'm up to date on the software curve

Being able acces all of your RAM with a 64 bit version of Pro Tools when 11 shows up is, if they do if right, gonna most likely be a huge advantage.

10.3 update is the best version of pt 10 to date. Update is safe. Go for it.
