Default commit and solo

hi,
when I commit my mixbus to print stems I have to mute all the unwanted tracks.

When I "solo" f.ex. the drum tracks (without muting the rest) PT is printing the whole session as if nothing was muted.

True? and Why ?

Yes, and also true for the right-click "bounce" workflow on a bus. I'm not sure if this is new behavior or not, but it doesn't really make sense to me. If you BTD an entire mix it respects Solo In Place, but if you bounce individual submaster auxes, it does not respect SIP!

Just ran into this issue today... I committed one of my sub busses up to a certain insert and after doing so, soloing anything doesn't work. For instance, I committed one of my guitar sub busses. Now, when I try to solo the vocals, everything is still playing back. This goes for trying to solo anything like drums, bass, guitars, etc.

Any fixes/workarounds since?

Correction:

I just tried muting things after committing and even the mute doesn't work! I even tried muting the mix bus and still... everything is playing back!

This is crazy!

I really don't understand the logic behind this behaviour. It's also tricky when using reverb sends and // busses. I loose a lot of time checking the routing before committing. I would like to solo what I want to hear and commit it. Period.
