Default Okayyy so I'm defragging ALL my HD... for free...

Only said For Free just in case someone is thinkin/sayin, "For What?"

Honestly I just wanna see whatz happens as I have never done so before to my audio drives... I have everything backed up on multiple drives so I'm not worried as to what happens, just more or less doing this to report back to ones that wonder what happens when this is done & why its so NOT supported to do so...

I'll be back to let you all know what happens

Okayyy so after 15 hrs of defragging(couple drives were a mess) I'm done, have went thru them all, opening multiple sessions on each of them & seeing what would happen, good or bad... I must say that, to me, & yes everything came up just as it should, but the response seems to be much quicker now on each one of them... "Let me say that I am NOT encouraging anyone to do this so don't say I caused u to mess up your sessions if you do this"...

But however,
it seemed, as I stated, to make things more responsive, even opening the sessions, & the guys that know me around here know most my sessions are large on average... no 20-30 track sessions over here...

Thanks to Mykhal C. THIS is the great defrag program I use...

Apple claims that on a "OSX Extended (HFS)" formatted drive you most likely do NOT need to defrag ever. I wonder if anyone has any insight on this? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1375?viewlocale=en_US

Hey kb!

Next thing you know you will be sorting Fruit Snacks out by flavor and color coding your sock drawer. Its a perilous road.
