Why am I gettting getting a split second delay as I'm recording?
I am running the Project Mix i/o with the Octane 8 channel pre amp. It usually works fine but every once in a while as I'm recording drums or even just vocals I have the musicians complain that they are hearing themselves a split second late and it throws them off. For example, when the snare is being hit the musician hears it after he plays it not right when he hits it, as for everything else. What do you recommend I do? Thanx

Buffer settings. Go to hardware=> playback engine=> change the buffer to the lowest setting you can. If you go lower than your computer can handle you will hear clicks and pops.
