Default mBox Pro drivers stable now?

I've got a line on one of these for a good deal & thought about giving it a try for my edit/overdub/mobile setup.
...But I seem to remember a while back they were having tons of driver issues with them.
Curious if they ever got that stuff ironed out.

On an iMac with OS 10.7.4 and Pro Tools 10.2

Hmmm, no answer... So does that mean there are *no* problems or there are major problems?

I remember reading here on the DUC that folks were having trouble with the drivers, but wondering if that got smoothed out?

Have a line on a used one for a great deal, just trying to figure out if it's worth pulling the trigger. Using a Profire 2626 now that works great, but is a little buggy itself. I know the new mBox line sounds a little better, especially in D/A, since I used to have an mBox 3.

Some people report not having any issues. Myself and others are having the speaker button, mono button bugs under Lion with the latest drivers. While it doesn't prevent you from using it, it does kind of suck to not be able to use all the features as intended. I sometimes just use it as a standalone AD/DA converter for the 003R

Also, there is a confirmed bug that is exclusive to the Pro version: onboard reverb return is mono, regardless of panning. A year ago Avid TS said they were aware of it and it would require a firmware update. Nothing yet... and I'm losing hope that it will ever be fixed...

Serio is correct. I was told there would be a fix and the workaround is indeed easy (use the control panel to switch) it does suck not to be able to user he buttons as intended. All that having been said, I LOVE the Mbox and would not trade it in.

Hey THANKS, jryser!!!!
Working great too...
even the "hold mono and mute buttons to enter guitar tuner mode" is working!

Serio - I seem to have lost functionality of my tuner. Did you have any issues with it? I have everything and can push the double button and enter the tuner window, but then nothing happens. Help!

no, no issues with the tuner here...
are you using the front, first input? It doesn't work with the rear inputs or the second front input.

Another thing i noticed is that the dsp reverb is still mono.

Yep, front first input. I will reinstall to see if that helps.
