I installed it on my G5 and was somewhat dissatisfied. I am currently working on a project that has about 12 tracks of audio, Ableton Live and Reason coming in via ReWire, and using some UAD-1 plug-ins. I realize the UAD-1 is just now finally supported in Tiger, and I updated that to no avail. When I started playback on the session, it seemed like it choked my G5 when under Panther the G5 was totally fine with that plug-in/track load. Anyone noticing that 6.9.2 seems to "cost more" CPU power just to load? I'm on a dual 1.8 Ghz G5 with 4.5 GB of RAM, I'm more than qualified to run this.We need 6.9.3 that runs as good as 6.9 does. Digi, your thoughts?

IMO, it's not 6.9.2, it's Tiger; seems to me that Spotlight sucks a lot of resources
I recommend downloading a freeware application called "Spotless" that allows you to turn Spotlight off.
Search: "Spotless Mac Tiger" or something like that.
