Default Waves plug-ins on Pro Tools First

Hi there! I have successfully installed Pro Tools First on my AMD system. Thank you very much Avid for this. That means if I purchase the full version of PT 12 it would run on my system right?

PTF can't seem to detect the rest of my Waves plug-ins. I have the latest version of them w/c I know includes aax compatibility. All I can see is the wave re-wire plug-in.

I hope someone can help me out here. It would really be great if I can use an instrument from Waves.

Thank you very much.

Pro Tools First will not load 3rd party plugins that aren't distributed via the Avid store.

Thank you very much for that. At least, now I know.

Let me ask you this, does it mean that Pro Tools 12 will run on my system? I don't seem to be having any other issues, at least up to this point.

I must say, I'm really amazed at how fast Waves support replies to e-mails. The last one I received from them took 3 minutes from the time my e-mail was sent.
