Default Tap tempo problem

i recently moved to pro tools 6.9 Up until this version there was a tap tempo function on the transport. I would love to know how to access the tap tempo in 6.9

Highlight the tempo shown in the transport window & tap the 't' key on the keyboard or a midi instrument should do it.
