Mapping pads on a controller to sounds in Xpand2
I'm totally new to Pro Tools First. I didn't like hunting and pecking on the MIDI controller keyboard so I bought an Akai MPK mini MIDI controller. But the drum pads (and the keyboard keys) map to random sounds within Xpand2. How do I map a pad (or key) to a particular sound?

Re: Mapping pads on a controller to sounds in Xpand2
Assign each pad to the midi note that triggers the desired sound. Maybe a youtube search will turn up a video showing how its done

Read the manual. There’s a reason why the MPK Mini came with its Editor software.
