S6 and XMON audio playback at full blast

Hi all

We installed an S6 this summer and have been using the included XMON for monitoring. Sometime in the last two months, we've been having the following issue with the XMON monitoring:

- After an offline bounce completes within Pro Tools, the S6 will no longer be able to control the XMON and monitoring levels are set as if the XMON was cranked all the way up.
- Closing the Pro Tools session and reopening resets the XMON and thus fixes the issue. I don't have to quit Pro Tools or restart any hardware.

We're on a Mac Pro tower running 10.9.5 and Pro Tools version 11.3.2.

Any ideas about what the issue could be? Seems like there might be some sort of control message issue between macOS and the XMON app.

XMON uses MIDI, do you have any conflicts ?

Hey there - I'm not seeing any MIDI conflicts, but is there something in particular I should be looking for to find them?

I'm not an expert in this area but I seem to remember once that PT was using the same port as the XMON once and it caused issues. Do you have MIDI devices and use MIDI tracks ?

Nope. The only thing we're using is a remote controlled mic preamp. Maybe there's a potential conflict there.
