Clipgroups/crossfades and AAFs
I am a Nuendo user. I have PTHD license as well. I have now received a session where there are crossfaded clipgroups. Is there any way to dissolve the clipgrouos without loosing the xfades?
I can’t seem to find a way to do that. I have received Score in PT that I’d prefer to bring into Nuendo. But AAF does not like clipgropus, and when I ungroup the clipgroups the xfades disappear as they were created as cross fades for clipgroups... Anyone have any ideas? Worst case is that I have to run a PT score playback machine when mixing, not a big deal, but not what I’d prefer. |

Re: Clipgroups/crossfades and AAFs
Yes, fades between/on clip groups is a bad idea for this reason! Only thing I can think of is to select the crossfades only and consolidate them - then you can ungroup the clip groups around the fades and the fades will stay rendered; not very graceful, but it's the only way I know of to preserve the fades.
