Default Pro Tools M-Powered 7.3 and East West Symph. Orch. Silver

I am running Pro Tools 7.3 for Mac on a MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo. I am also running the East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Silver Edition. I have installed the RTAS plug-in but still cannot get Pro Tools to recognize the East West plug-in. What am I doing wrong?

ARGH! That is unfortunate. I guess I will have to wait until East West releases an upgrade.

KOMPAKT was discontinued and EastWest is working on their new Sampler engine called PLAY. When the upgrades will be available is not certain. Alternatively, you can use NI's Kontakt. ANyhoo, from the EWQLSO Silver product page:

Quote:
PURCHASE WITH CONFIDENCE!

PURCHASE OF THIS PRODUCT AFTER JANUARY 18, 2007 QUALIFIES FOR A FREE* UPGRADE TO THE EASTWEST PLAY ADVANCED SAMPLE ENGINE UPON RELEASE. THIS UPGRADE INCLUDES UNIVERSAL BINARY (INTEL MAC) AND MICROSOFT VISTA (32 & 64-bit) COMPATIBILITY!

IF YOU WISH TO KEEP YOUR KOMPAKT/KONTAKT SOFTWARE ACTIVE - AND - UPGRADE TO "PLAY" A $49.95 PLAY UPGRADE FEE (which includes ILok) WILL APPLY.

FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE EASTWEST PLAY ADVANCED SAMPLE ENGINE GO “HERE”

(*iLok security key is required for PLAY, and can be purchased here for $39.95 if required. One iLok key will enable users to register 100 products).
