Delete breakpoints?

There have been times when I've set up automation on an aux input track and later wanted to delete the breakpoints and redo or abandon it completely. Is there any way of deleting the breakpoints without tossing out all automation? I know about selecting a track and using the "cut special" method, but is there another way of doing it?

For a certain automation parameter: select trackview to this parameter, triple-click in the edit window in the track (selects from start to end) , "Del" on keyboard.
For all of the automation of a type :triple-click in the edit window in the track , "clear special" pan/plugin/all.
For all automation (behaves like clear special -all) : triple-click in the edit window in the track , trackview to any automation parameter , Cmd Ctrl X or Ctrl Start X.

Thanks so much! This is very helpful. Sometimes I want to keep some automation, like panning, and discard the others.

On the correct automation track/lane, highlight what you want to delete and...hit delete.

I think I just had a "DOH!" moment: selecting and deleting is too obvious . I kept trying to right click to get there.

Don't forget option-click to remove specific breakpoints...
