Default Spitfire Audio - Labs

Existing Spitfire Albion One user here and just realised that their Labs product/project now uses a new, in-house player (not Kontakt) ... and it’s FREE (currently five libraries available).

These guys are great and this is an excellent intro into what they’re about - see: https://www.spitfireaudio.com/info/faq/labs/

Enjoy! :)

Thank you, electric pianos are always welcome!

Edit: well, it worked for a few minutes then the libraries went corrupted and repair didn't fix it, it seems to have trouble contacting the website for authorization after restarting PT.

Good sound, impossible interface.

Update 2: uninstalled everything (according to the installation program) , still the plugin keeps showing in PT and it works! 🤣🤣🤣

IN another forum I sometimes browse there's this thread (look at the last couple of posts on page 47 by Rick Cornish and cuttime): http://www.motunation.com/forum/view...556689#p556689
There's some kind of helper program that runs on startup. This may or may not be the issue here.

Good to know, thanks! I'm kind of surprised the installer doesn't delete anything at all (except removing the name from the list) , I'll have to delete everything manually today, never to look back.

I received the following e-mail from Spitfire yesterday after installing - sounds like you were affected:

Due to a problem with our servers, you may have had issues installing our latest LABS, Electric Piano. We are happy to say all is back to normal now.

To fix the issue you may have had - please open and login to the Spitfire Audio app, find and click on LABS Electric Piano, hit repair and download onto your computer.

Once this has completed, relaunch the DAW to enjoy the latest LABS release.
