Default M-Powered w/ 1814... can i use the 001 to expand?

I might be out of my mind, but would it be possible to use the 1814 with M-Powered PT and then S/PDIF or Lightpipe the 001 into the 1814? If so would that give me more tracks.

Is there anyway to expand the amount of simultaneous tracks using M-Powered?

I probably need to ask the 2nd part of this in a different Section, but what about the reverse of that? 1814 to 001 to PT LE.
