Recording Vinyl - horrible digi-noise, distortion, pops

Hey guys,

I'm recording a 45 min Michael Jackson Mega-mix type thing that i put together. I'm recording this on 2 Technics turntables, a Rane Empath DJ mixer, all going through Serato (I'm usually digital track as well as real vinyl)

I have the DJ mixer going into a channel on my Mackie 1402VLZ studio mixer, which I then have going into my M-Audio Firewire 410

I usually use Amadeus for DJ mixes, but it's not working right at all since the new update.

But I'm getting some serious [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep]ty noises in the recording process. These sounds aren't being heard at all during the actually recording.

I cannot figure out what is going on, I've tried many options, switching needles, using regular vinyl, nothing seems to work. Any clues?

made sure my sample rate was the same on my project settings, and my soundcard.

problem still remains.
