Ungroup shortcut 'Ctrl+Alt+U' not working

I'm on a Win 8.1 PC running PT HD 12.4

Group shortcut 'Ctrrl+Alt+G' works fine

Ungroup shortcut does not work

Easy one this: I note your location as 'London' so will guess you're using a UK keyboard & UK language setting in Windows. Unfortunately Pro Tools is quite fussy about the language setting and using non US language will break a number of shortcuts.

To solve: Add US input method (Control panel->Language->language options) US Touch keyboard layout.

Starting Windows 8 (I think) you can set an input method (keyboard layout) per application, so you can have everything else work correctly, like @ & £ where you expect and still have Pro Tools behave. Control panel->language->advance settings->Let me set a different input method for each app window.

Go to the taskbar and select US input method with Pro Tools as the focused app and you should be good to go.

Great to hear. The same solution works for Windows 10 - don't ask me how I know that ;-)

The other common shortcut that fails to work, in fact it's how I test I've got the language set correctly are part of the selection navigation keys "LP;'" The ' key won't move selection right but instead cycles through the edit modes!
