Computer upgrade
i am thinking about upgrading my PPC dual 2ghz. I have been waiting for the new MAc Pro's but they seem to be a ways off if they will upgrade them at all.
I was looking at getting a Mac Book Pro or Imac. Any thoughts or suggestions? I am running 002, PT7.4 and Logic Pro 8.0.2. Is it even worth the upgrade for both the Computer and software? Thank you. |

Re: Computer upgrade
As for processing power, they will be light years ahead of what you have.
You'll have to figure out what hard drive setup you want to use, though the newer iMacs give you more flexibility than before, with being able to have both an SSD and another hard drive internally. You also might look into the Mac Mini quad server. There are already some threads about it. |
