PT, Reason and the Akai MPD-16
I have Pro Tools, Reason and the MPD-16 hooked up to my Powerbook (stats in the sig).. I've noticed that when i'm playing a beat, every 10 seconds or so the audio will hesitate and catch up with itself.. is this the unreliable USB midi or can my PB not keep up? I don't have the ac adapter but when i plug a midi cable from the mpd into my 002 i still get the problem. (even when i make sure that PT isn't receiving the usb signal..
any help would be appreciated.. thanks, petr |

Re: PT, Reason and the Akai MPD-16
I'm been searching for a few days now and haven't come up with a definite answer...
How do I correctly re-wire Reason 4 into Pro-Tools 7.4 M-Powered and control it with a MPD 24 connected through usb? For starters, I cannot control any of the plugins such as Xpand or Hybrid. |
