Will ATTO ever work with beige G3 & Adaptec UWSSCI card?

We use a G4 rig (Atto) Mix + rig for remote recording and a G3 rig (FWB) 'back at the ranch' .

ATTO drives wont play on our 'home' system..

Any hope for G3 beige & Adaptec rig to run ATTO????

What model Adaptec SCSI Card?

If it is a 2940UW or a 3940UW, you will need to have firmware version 4.1 installed in order for ATTO Initialized drives to work on the system. You should also have a recent version of the PowerDomain Control Panel installed.

Dunno for sure, but thanks I will get my Macspert on it...

Is it plain sailing once set up? Or are there "issues"

For back up, I use Retrospect with a DDS3 (BTW)
